So I wasn't originally planning to do very many "activities" for the kids this week. I wanted to just enjoy reading this book daily and have fun talking about different things. But they keep asking to do "school" type activities. So I keep preparing things for them to do. I hope to slowly wean away from these types of things and just engage in exploratory, meaningful play with them! :) Nevertheless, here are some of the things we did this week.

She LOVES reading to her babies. :) |
So all in all, I'd say it was a great week. Naomi is still enrolled at a local preschool (there's only a month of school left). But Isaac has complained about going to preschool for a couple of months now. And last week, he flat out said, "I don't want to go anywhere to school, I just want to do school here at home, Mommy!" I couldn't argue with that! I kept probing to see why he hasn't enjoyed going to preschool, but he just says he doesn't like anything about it. So I made the difficult decision to pull him out with only a month and a half left. I think it'll work out well for our family. And with the extra savings, we're going to enroll him in an all boys gymnastics class at a local academy. :)
