Lots of exciting things coming up...

Thanks to a friend of mine, who found the idea on Pinterest, I have a new board above our school table!! It's an oil pan from Wal-Mart, and it's magnetic! :) The chalkboard was nice, but not practical. I will be able to use dry erase markers on this as well!! I also bought a few new magnets and clips to be able to hang their work. It's big and shiny, and OH SO FUN! :) Just wanted to share!! :)

On a completely different note, I am SO excited about the upcoming IAHE Homeschool Convention!! It'll be my first one, and I am SO pumped about some of the workshops/topics being taught. (I'm also excited to have two days with just me, the hubby, and the baby all to ourselves.) I keep going back and forth as to what to do with Isaac this next school year...start him with a Kindergarten curriculum, or just take it easy with preschool stuff for another year? He's eager to learn new things and I just want to be sure that I am feeding his mind as well as his heart. :) That said, I know he's only four, and so the most important thing right now is for him to PLAY! Which is why I'm also super excited to start up Forest School Fridays next week!! :) I think we're going to take a break from FIAR next week, as it the week before Easter, and I'd prefer to focus on what and why we are celebrating.
