{Number Puzzles}
{Shape sorting/Clock work}
{Work with Geometric Cubes}
{Counting/Number recognition}
(I put a pile of numbers in the center of our train table, with piles of 1-10 items around the edges. They took turns counting the items in each pile, then grabbing the correct number from the center. They enjoyed this activity, though it was quite simple for them both.)
{Number Sequencing}
He had to guess which number was missing on each page, find it, and then put it where it goes. |
{Dice/Button Addition Game}
Just roll the dice, choose the correct number of buttons to correspond with each, then add them together. |
{Army Men Addition}
We did addition work with army guys (5+2=7). |
{Number Peg Boards}
This is very simple/easy work for them, but they LOVE it! |
We're also working through the "Developing the Early Learner" series. These are groups of exercises dedicated to developing the skills required to begin reading and writing. Isaac breezes through these, but he also enjoys them!
